How We Design & Engineer Your Sprinkler System
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
AFPG increases its productivity in building design and construction through three-dimensional, real-time, dynamic building modeling. Using innovative computer-aided design (CAD) capabilities, we integrate sprinkler systems with all building components and use accurate drawing data to produce a cohesive, comprehensive and consistent design.
Fire Protection Systems Design
Our designers are experts in conceptual engineering, detail engineering, construction documents, construction observation and final acceptance testing. In fact, many of our experienced designers are certified through the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET). Additionally, we have two Registered Fire Protection Professional Engineer (P.E.) on staff, with licenses in multiple states.
Code Consulting
We work closely with insurance companies and government agencies to design sprinkler systems that comply with the National Fire Protection Association and local fire codes, as well as with client-specific insurance requirements.
Survey of Sprinkler Site
Our divisions review existing facilities for retrofit installations or to verify that fire sprinkler systems comply with codes required for system upgrades or modifications.
Hydraulic Calculations
Our team uses these measurements to design plans that maintain adequate flow for effective fire control.
