AFPG's companies have been serving the construction/building and property management industries' need for design, fabrication, installation, service/maintenance, and monitoring of quality fire protection alarms and life safety systems for decades. We're experienced with all types of fire protection systems - from basic wet pipe and dry pipe systems to complex special hazards systems, such as foam and gas, both large and small. With a network of companies spanning the country from coast to coast, we work with regional and national companies on local levels or on projects and facilities across the country.
AFPG employs skilled, experienced staff and technicians; including technicians who hold the National Institute of Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) certification for fire protection. We offer continued training programs for our supervisors and field workers, and we're a front runner when it comes to obtaining new licenses and certifications - allowing us to offer products and services to our customers oftentimes before anyone else can.
The Tommy Ward Safety Award
This award is to bestow the highest honor the corporation could give an AFPG employee for "Above and Beyond" efforts involving the three areas of safety. These are: job-site safety, vehicle safety, and product safety.
The award has truly brought to life Mr. Windnagle's vision of "Above and Beyond" efforts by employees within the AFPG Corporation whose "acts" otherwise would have gone unrecognized. The honorees of the award have raised the bar for all who might follow. As the impetus behind the formation of the AFPG Safety Committee, Tommy Ward was honored upon his retirement with the first annual Tommy Ward Award. The award is given out annually to one individual within AFPG nominated as the one who went above and beyond the call of duty regarding safety and diligence.
